LSU freshman defensive tackle Davon Godchaux won't receive any further punishment after being ejected from Saturday's game against Ole Miss, according to SID Michael Bonnette.
Godchaux was ejected following his second unsportsmanlike conduct penalty of the game. Bonnette said neither penalty "involved physical contact," and as a result, Godchaux will not miss any time against Alabama on Nov. 8.
Godchaux was first called for unsportsmanlike penalty in the third quarter on Jamal Adams' now infamous flop play. The other Godchaux penalty came on the fourth down stop late in the fourth quarter. He was ejected after that second infraction and was not on the field for LSU's final defensive stand.
Godchaux has played in all nine games this season with six starts. He has 25 tackles, including one for a loss. He has also forced a fumble. Prior to his ejection, Godchaux had three tackles against Ole Miss, including 0.5 for loss.
Davon Godchaux won't face further penalty
