Kenny Hilliard's favorite Alabama moment

LSU running back Kenny Hilliard reflected on his most memorable moments from games against Alabama. He discusses it in this video, and the answer may surprise you

LSU running back Kenny Hilliard gets one last battle with Alabama.

The senior running back has been a part in some remarkable games between these rivals, from the “Game of the Century” in 2011, to the BCS National Chamiponship Game and 2012 thriller in Tiger Stadium. So in the buildup to Hilliard’s final crack at the Tide, we asked which moment stands out most.

His answer doesn’t even involve touching the ball.

He made a key block in overtime of that 2011 game to spring Michael Ford for the run that set up the game-winning field goal. That was Hilliard’s most memorable moment.

“I remember the big block that I made my freshman year,” Hilliard said. “It was an option play that Michael Ford ran down the sideline. That was a big play that gave us the drive to kick the field goal and score. So that’s the most memorable play that I’ve made [against] Alabama.”

In the video embedded below, you can hear much more from Hilliard as Alabama approaches. He discusses what he expects the atmosphere to be like on Nov. 8, the importance of a bye week before the Tide and how emotional Senior Night will be for him.
