LSU running back Terrence Magee is expected to return to practice Monday, Les Miles said during his weekly press luncheon.
Magee took an "inadvertent finger" to the eye against Ole Miss, which kept him out for most of the second half against the Rebels. Miles said Magee didn't practice during the week leading up to the Tigers' open date.
Magee should play Saturday against Alabama.
"Terrence is going to be fine," Miles said. "He'll practice today, and we expect him to be ready for the game."
Magee has 418 rushing yards and three touchdowns this season. He also has 10 catches for 122 yards. Without Magee in the lineup for the second half of Ole Miss, Kenny Hilliard saw an increase in carries, factoring heavily in LSU's 95-yard game-winning drive.
