LSU center Elliott Porter reflected on a lot Monday, from the importance of the Alabama game to his upcoming Senior Day. Watch TSD's video with Porter, who also discussed the Tigers finding an identity by going back to "old school LSU ground-and-pound offense."

It's fair to say Saturday means a lot for Elliott Porter.

The Shaw product, whose winding road to LSU took him through Lexington for a semester and some change, will go through Senior Day Saturday night in Tiger Stadium and then try to beat Alabama for the first time as a starter.

On Monday Porter told reporters there's no shortage of motivation for him or any of the Tigers heading into the big SEC West clash.

"We look at it as the next big game. It's a big game for us," Porter explained. "We think this is a great team. We're going to try to beat this team to the best of our ability. That's why we work hard. That's why we run in the summer time. That's why we lift in the summer time.

"We do it all for games like this. That's why you sign here to play at LSU. Everybody came to sign and play at LSU for games like this."
