VIDEO: Martin reacts to scoring spree

LSU forward Jarell Martin led the Tigers with 22 points in Friday night's exhibition win over Morehouse. Watch him review the win and his 10-point outburst early in the second half.

With a game-high 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting, sophomore Jarell Martin looked like a player ready to take the mantle as top scoring threat with his performance in LSU's 71-47 win over Morehouse in Friday night's home exhibition game.

Of course that role a season ago belonged to Johnny O'Bryant, but with no more O'Bryant in the middle, driving lanes have opened up for players on the wing.

In the postgame video below, Martin spoke with TSD about the new offensive feel sans O'Bryant and just why he's taking it upon himself to fill that scoring void.

Also included are Martin's take on LSU getting out-rebounded 66-46 and playing defense with and without 7-foot-1 freshman center Elbert Robinson III.
