LSU's Rashard Robinson suspended indefinitely

LSU cornerback Rashard Robinson will miss Saturday night's game against Alabama and is suspended indefinitely, according to the sports information department

LSU will be without starting cornerback Rashard Robinson against Alabama, according to the sports information department.

Robinson has been suspended indefinitely. LSU and Les Miles are withholding further comment for the time being.

This is Robinson's second suspension this season. He was left home for LSU's season opener against Wisconsin along with three other players. The specifics of that suspension were not disclosed either.

Not having Robinson is a big blow to an LSU secondary that will be tasked with shutting down Amari Cooper, the nation's best wide receiver. Jalen Collins is expected to start in Robinson's place.

Teams haven't thrown it Robinson's way much this season. He has one pass breakup and 17 tackles, including one for a loss.
