LSU evened its record at the Paradise Jam on Saturday with a 72-58 victory against Weber State.

The Tigers (3-1) responded after dropping Friday's opener, 70-61 to Old Dominion. LSU shot 49.2 percent from the field and 83.3 percent from the line after struggling in both areas Friday.

Jordan Mickey took 24 shots against Weber State to lead the Tigers with 27 points, his highest point total of the season. That's a much better performance than his game against Old Dominion, where he totaled only five points. Mickey also turned in his second double-double of the season with 14 rebounds against Old Dominion.

Keith Hornsby followed him with 18 points, including a pair of three pointers. Jarell Martin also made it into double digits with 11.

Elbert Robinson started at center but played only four minutes as LSU continues to prefer a smaller set with Tim Quarterman on the court. He played the fifth most minutes Saturday, and he had eight points, four rebounds and two assists.

LSU advances to play in the Paradise Jam fourth-place game on Monday at 3 p.m. against Clemson.
