LSU reenters CFP Committee Rankings

LSU is back in the CFP Selection Committee rankings at No. 24 after falling outside the poll for the last two weeks

While most of the country will focus on the top of CFP Selection Committee rankings, LSU will just be happy to see its name on the list.

The Tigers reentered the poll that decides the playoff at No. 24, after spending the last two weeks outside the Top 25. LSU also appeared at No. 23 in the AP Poll and No. 24 in the Coaches' Poll.

LSU finishes the regular season ranked for the sixth consecutive season.

The Tigers went 2-3 against teams currently ranked in the CFP Top 25, with wins coming against No. 12 Ole Miss and No. 13 Wisconsin. LSU lost to No. 1 Alabama, No. 10 Mississippi State and No. 19 Auburn.

LSU is one of seven teams from the SEC ranked in the Top 25, with No. 14 Georgia and No. 16 Missouri joining the aforementioned SEC teams.
