LSU lands three on All-SEC Coaches Teams

La'El Collins landed on another All-SEC first team as voted on by the coaches. Vadal Alexander and Jamie Keehn are second team All-SEC, the conference announced Tuesday

LSU put three players on the All-SEC teams as voted on by the coaches and announced Tuesday by the conference.

La'el Collins was the Tigers' lone first team selection. He was also a first team selection according to the Associated Press.

Collins started all 12 games this season at left tackle after opting to return for his senior season. The Baton Rouge native started all but one game after taking over as the left guard in his sophomore year. He moved to tackle for both the 2013 and 2014 seasons.

Collins was named second team All-SEC as a junior and could be a first round draft pick in this spring's NFL Draft.

Junior left guard Vadal Alexander and junior punter Jamie Keehn were second team selections.

Alexander started 11 games this season, missing the Arkansas contest with a hand injury. That was the first game he's missed in three years as the Tigers' left guard. He was named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week for his performance against Florida in October.

Keehn finished second in the conference with a 45-yard average. That's also good for third all-time in a single season.

The SEC individual awards will be announced Wednesday and the All-Freshman team will be released Thursday.
