Players haven't heard from Miles on Michigan

Senior fullback Connor Neighbors, in a video interview with TSD, said Les Miles hasn't addressed the team on the subject of Michigan. Watch Neighbors explain why he doesn't think Miles has to.

On Monday evening the local media heard from Les Miles – kind of – on the Michigan opening and his name being in the mix, but, according to senior fullback Connor Neighbors, Miles hasn't addressed Tiger players to that end.

Nor does he have to, in Neighbors' estimation.

"He hasn't addressed the team yet, but I don't think he really needs to," Neighbors told TSD, "because we all know that whatever he does it's for the benefit of him and his family.

"But I don't think he's going anywhere. Why would he? This is the best place in the nation."

Miles insisted Monday that neither he nor agent George Bass have been contacted formally or informally by Michigan. That comes in contrast to reports from several outlets, including Scout's Michigan site, that contact was made with Bass last week.

Neighbors' remarks are the latest in a line of comments from the LSU side that suggest Miles, who hasn't been offered the Michigan job, is staying put in Baton Rouge.
