Postgame Video: Mickey, Patterson

An often-doubled Jordan Mickey gutted his way to a 17-point, eight-rebound performance while freshman Jalyn Patterson notched a career-high 15 points. Both players spoke with TSD after LSU's wild double-overtime win over Georgia.

It wasn't easy and at times it was actually quite hard to watch, but LSU (12-3, 1-1) salvaged a game it nearly gave away in regulation, finding a way to top Georgia (9-5, 0-2) in double overtime by a slim 87-84 margin.

Two of the key contributors for the Tigers were sophomore forward Jordan Mickey, who finished with 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting to go with eight rebounds, three blocks and two steals, and freshman guard Jalyn Patterson, who posted a career-best 15 points as well as three assists and two steals.

Mickey and Patterson discussed their games, the huge performance by Tim Quarterman and LSU getting into the win column in SEC play.
