LSU has four commits in final Scout 100

LSU placed four commits in Scout's final ranking of the Top 100 recruits in the nation

LSU landed four commits in the final Scout 100 with the potential to add more to its class.

Scout began unveiling its final rankings this week, with the Top 100 prospects coming out Thursday. The Tigers placed four 2015 commits in the Top 100 — No. 13 Kevin Toliver, No. 44 Maea Teuhema, No. 47 Tyron Johnson and No. 51 Derrius Guice.

Toliver, the lone five-star prospect currently in the class, has already enrolled at LSU. He'll go through spring practices and compete for a starting spot. He finishes the cycle as the No. 3 cornerback in the nation.

Teuhema finishes just outside the cut for five-star status. He ranks as the nation's best offensive guard and could compete to fill in the two-deep.

Johnson's the most recent addition to the LSU class after committing during the Under-Armour All-American Game on Jan. 2. He's the No. 7 wide receiver in the country and the No. 2 overall prospect in Louisiana. He'll take his official visit to LSU the weekend of Jan. 23.

Guice rounds out the group of Top 100 commits after being named the U.S. Army All-America Bowl MVP. He's the top running back in the South and No. 3 in the country at his position. He figures to play a prominent role in LSU's backfield as a freshman.

LSU could potentially add several more Top 100 recruits by the end of the cycle. Chief among them is No. 34 Donte Jackson, the No. 1 overall prospect in Louisiana. He'll announce his commitment to either LSU or Georgia on Jan. 21 with an official visit to Baton Rouge coming that weekend.

Other Top 100 recruits still considering LSU: No. 5 CeCe Jefferson, No. 11 Iman Marshall, No. 31 DaMarkus Lodge, No. 53 Jamal Peters, No. 74 Holton Hill.
