VIDEO: Les Miles recaps 2015 signing class

LSU's head coach gave an extended overview of the 2015 class while hinting that one five-star could have three phases of football in his future in Baton Rouge.

Les Miles reacted to his 2015 signing class Wednesday afternoon, wrapping up a National Signing Day that for LSU went more or less as planned.

The Tigers ended up with 25 National Letters of Intent, with four in well before today in the form of early enrollees David Ducre, Justin McMillan, Hanner Shipley and Kevin Toliver.

LSU’s haul on NSD was highlighted by the morning additions of Derrick Dillon, a flip from Florida, and Toby Weathersby, a former Texas commitment, as well as an afternoon signature from Foster Moreau.

Miles was pleased with how the Bayou Bengals met needs across the board.

Perhaps one of his most interesting statements, however, pertained to five-star signee Donte Jackson, who Miles hinted is likely to see time in all three phases right off the bat.

"Donte will have opportunity to get the ball out of the backfield, return kickoffs and play a corner with lockdown speed," explained Miles of the New Orleans native. "Those guys are rare. They don't show up all the time.

"For instance, to be honest with you, (we) probably should have used Pat (Peterson) a little more when we got him here. I think we will have learned from that example."
