Schedule Changes for LSU's weekend series

The threat of inclement weather this weekend has forced LSU to alter its schedule for the series against Boston College

Forecasts predict severe weather in Baton Rouge on Sunday, so No. 4 LSU has altered its weekend schedule for the series against Boston College.

The game originally scheduled for Sunday afternoon will now happen Friday at 2 p.m. The other two games will remain as scheduled, Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 3 p.m.

Fans planning to attend this weekend's game must use their Game 7 ticket (the one originally scheduled for Sunday) for the 2 p.m. game on Friday. Alex Box Stadium will be cleared after the conclusion of that game, and fans will be readmitted for the night cap with their Game 5 tickets. Game 6 tickets will be taken Saturday.

All games can be watched online with SEC Network+ or the WatchESPN app.

LSU has also altered its weekend pitching rotation as well. Jared Poché, originally scheduled to pitch the finale, will take the mound in the first game. Alex Lange will start the nightcap, and Jake Godfrey will get the start on Saturday.

LSU returns to action Wednesday night at 6 p.m. against Nicholls State.
