VIDEO: Tim Quarterman on challenge of NCAAs

LSU's sophomore guard from Savannah is looking forward to his first taste of March Madness. In this video interview from Pittsburgh, he previews the game from a number of angles and discusses the mentality of the Tigers.

PITTSBURGH - The most improved player on the Tigers' team from last season, Tim Quarterman, is excited to be in the Big Dance.

The sophomore guard sat down with TSD inside the CONSOL Energy Center Wednesday afternoon, breaking down the NC State matchup, talking about the growth of LSU throughout the season and much more.

"We had an up-and-down season, but this is a new season," avowed Quarterman. "Win, you move on. Lose, you go home. It's all about surviving and advancing."

Diving into the roller-coaster ride theme, Quarterman shook his head, saying, "We lost a lot of bad games. We won a lot of good games, too. You really don't look at that as a player. You've just got to move on to the next one.

"There are no bad teams in the NCAA Tournament, so hopefully that helps us out if those facts are true."
