Jonathan Isaac intrigued by LSU offer

Earlier this week LSU extended an offer to 2016 forward Jonathan Isaac. TSD caught up with the four-star prospect from Florida at the EYBL session in Houston.

The latest name to emerge on the recruiting radar for LSU basketball in 2016 is IMG Academy forward Jonathan Isaac.

A four-star prospect from Hollywood, Fla., Isaac is a rail-thin 6-foot-9 inside-out player with a sweet shot getting plenty of attention from around the country.

Isaac reports offers from Alabama, Mississippi State, Texas, Texas Tech, Central Florida, Vanderbilt, West Virginia and Arkansas State. He's also received interest from Florida State, South Carolina and Georgia Tech, among others.

Earlier this week he added to his offer list LSU, which has a pipeline to Isaac's EBYL summer team, Each 1 Teach 1, where Tiger signees Antonio Blakeney and Ben Simmons suited up last summer.

In the video below, shot Friday afternoon at this weekend's EYBL session in Houston (and right before Isaac officially got his LSU offer), the rangy forward talked about getting into recruiting and what his interest level would be should the Tigers extend an overture.

Based on his response this will be a player for LSU fans to monitor throughout the summer and into the upcoming fall semester. The point man for the Tigers is assistant David Patrick.
