Mullen tweeted out his new list, specifying that he's still open-minded to all suitors. Mullen released a Top 10 last month that had LSU at No. 2, and that's where the Tigers landed this time as well.
Still open minded these are just the schools I feel are very high with me right now. Not excluding anyone ?? pic.twitter.com/WAUeBtTu23— Mantis.tm1?? (@Mullen_1era) May 11, 2015
Mullen did not say whether this list was in order (he did last month). Baylor and Texas A&M are the two new additions to his Top 10, taking the place of Ole Miss and Louisville.
You can mostly take lists like this from recruits with a grain of salt. Especially if Mullen intends to release a new one every month. But it is worth noting that LSU maintains a steady presence in his recruitment.
LSU has felt throughout Mullen's recruitment that they're a lead dog. They believe Mullen is the most likely out-of-state corner to add to this class with Saivion Smith.
Most believe it's a two-team battle between LSU and Florida State for his eventual commitment. But it's clear at this point that Mullen is trying to consider all schools evenly.
LSU expects to host Mullen on a visit this summer. He hasn't been to Baton Rouge since the fall, but Corey Raymond did stop by his school two weeks ago for an evaluation. He's the top out-of-state CB target at this point, and LSU hopes he and Kristian Fulton are the next two at that position to commit to the Tigers.
