Several Tigers named preseason All-Americans

Phil Steele's annual preseason All-American teams are out for 2015, and several LSU players made the cut, led by senior offensive lineman Vadal Alexander.

It's that time of the year.

School is out, summer is in the air and that means preseason football publications are all the rage as pigskin fans prepare for another college football season.

One of the best-known prognosticators going, Phil Steele, released his preseason All-American and All-SEC teams on Monday.

Five LSU players were included on Steele's four total teams, led by projected first-team All-American offensive lineman Vadal Alexander.

Also nabbing preseason first-team honors was senior long snapper Reid Ferguson. Safety Jalen Mills made Steele's second team while running back Leonard Fournette is on the third team and linebacker Kendell Beckwith on the fourth team.
