LSU placed four players on the Baton Rouge Regional All-Tournament team, and Alex Lange was named the regional's Most Outstanding Player.

The Tigers' four selections were tied with UNC Wilmington for the most by a single team. Lange, Chris Chinea, Conner Hale and Andrew Stevenson represented LSU on the All-Tournament team.

Lange, the SEC Freshman of the Year, threw a complete game shutout Saturday against UNCW to send LSU to the regional championship. He struck out 12 batters and held UNCW hitless with runners on base. It was the sixth complete game shutout thrown by an LSU pitcher in the NCAA Tournament.

Hale had three hits in 11 at-bats in the regional. He also drew two walks against Lehigh and stole his first base of the season.

Stevenson batted .500 (6-for-12) in the regional with a double. He scored the go-ahead run Monday against UNCW after reaching on an error. He also had another remarkable catch to save a run in the regional championship game.
