This offseason LSU is replacing not only two All-SEC players in Jarell Martin and Jordan Mickey, but also two bench spots under Johnny Jones, heading into his fourth season leading the program.
Alongside fellow newcomer John Treloar, a former John Brady assistant coming back to LSU, is SEC veteran Al Pinkins, who last season coached at Tennessee and spent a number of years in Oxford with Andy Kennedy at Ole Miss.
On Wednesday TSD's Ben Love chatted with Pinkins, about a month into his time in Baton Rouge, on his daily radio show, "Bumper to Bumper Sports" on 103.7 FM (KLWB) in Lafayette.
Listen in below for Pinkins' take on some of the Tigers' returning players, including Keith Hornsby and Tim Quarterman, as well as the arrival of Ben Simmons, why the trip to Australia is critical and his outlook on recruiting in-state and out for LSU.
