The LSU commit was one of the top performers regardless of position last week at The Opening. He was so dominant that Scout's national recruiting analyst Chad Simmons said Sullivan's in store for a significant bump in his ranking later this summer.
“He’s a guy you could say [with his size] is potentially a tight end," Simmons said. "Then you watch him run and see the separation, the fluidity, the way he moves out of breaks, adjustments he makes on the football. He really is a wide receiver. He’s been outstanding. He looks like a top 10 player in the country…He’s better than I have him ranked right now.”
Sullivan has been committed to LSU longer than anyone in the 2016 class. His talent has led to significant attention from other schools, TCU in particular.
He said last week that the Horned Frogs have a real shot to flip him, but Simmons believes the elite receiver will ultimately stay in Louisiana.
"LSU won’t let him get away that easily," Simmons said. "I think he ends up a Tiger, but keep an eye on TCU. They’ll sneak under the radar and might steal one.”
