Four-star safety Deontay Anderson will soon cut his list to five schools.
He knows three that will definitely be in that lead group, and LSU is one.
“I feel at home at LSU," Anderson told Scout's Ahmard Vital at the Texas 7-on-7 State Championships.
Anderson also said that Ole Miss is a top contender, largely because of Shea Patterson. He also will take his first official visit to USC some time in September.
Anderson is very familiar with LSU though. He's made several trips to Baton Rouge over the last couple years as he's been one of the top targets on their board for a long time. He was most recently on campus for the Bayou Picnic in May, and his next visit probably won't come until the fall.
His attraction to LSU comes with that proud defensive back tradition.
“It's DBU," Anderson said. "Coach Raymond is the best at it. I know I can go straight to the league from there. It’s a lot to think into.”
