Rising seniors Brison Gresham and DeJon Jarreau of McDonogh 35 as well as junior Brandon Rachal of Natchitoches Central will take in campus and a portion of the Tigers' practice.
Gresham and Jarreau both picked up offers from LSU in mid-July, adding on to recruiting lists that have exploded for each player during this summer. They are expected to cull the herd to five schools in the near future.
Upon receiving the major in-state offer, Jarreau, a four-star prospect, told TSD, "I was very happy to see that the hometown team finally recognized me."
Rachal, a year younger than the other two, has likewise seen his offer sheet blow up in recent months after more than holding his own all summer going against older players.
LSU has not formally offered the versatile player from Natchitoches, but Tigers head coach Johnny Jones and assistant David Patrick have grown increasingly fond of the 2017 target, showing plenty of interest and staying in regular contact.
