The massive target released his top three Monday night on Twitter, and the list included LSU, Florida State and Clemson. This comes less than two weeks after Mullen spent multiple days on LSU's campus during the Tigers' Elite Camp.
Mullen did add he's still "not blocking any school out."
Every few weeks we seem to get an updated list from Mullen on the top schools standing out for him. He released a pair of Top 10s in the spring, and followed that up in the summer when he named the five schools he was considering for an official visit.
LSU has maintained a solid position with every new ranking. The Tigers' companion near the top, Florida State, has also kept a steady presence in his recruitment, and Mullen leaves little doubt those are the top two contenders for his commitment.
LSU will likely add two more corners in this class, and they have three names high on their board. The top in-state corner, Kristian Fulton, will likely announce his commitment before the end of this month, and LSU is a massive favorite. The Tigers also recently offered fellow Louisianan Kyle Meyers, a Florida State commit.
Most expect LSU will land either Mullen or Meyers, but not both, with the other likely to end up with the Seminoles.
Mullen hasn't given the impression he's close to committing anywhere. His plan to take all five official visits leads you to believe he's aiming for an announcement late in the cycle.
What is certain though is that LSU remains one of two heavy favorites to eventually receive Mullen's commitment.
