Vegas has LSU a big favorite heading into showdown with Auburn.

LSU opens as a 6.5-point favorite against Auburn, according to VegasInsider.com.

LSU's riding high after squeaking out a 21-19 victory Saturday night against Mississippi State, a missed 52-yard field goal as time expired the difference. Auburn, on the other hand, is trending down after needing overtime to get past FCS foe Jacksonville State.

LSU will be a bettor's favorite for the second consecutive week. The Tigers were favored by 3 against Mississippi State but failed to cover.

Auburn is 0-2 against the spread this season.

According to TeamRankings.com, LSU went 8-5 against the spread last year, the third best record among SEC teams. LSU is 64-66-2 against the spread since Les Miles took over the program in 2005.

Auburn at 4-9 had the SEC's worst record against the spread last season.

These two teams will meet in Tiger Stadium on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcasted on CBS.
