LSU-Eastern Michigan gets 6 p.m. kickoff on ESPNU

LSU-Eastern Michigan will be first night game in Tiger Stadium of 2015.

The first Saturday night in Death Valley is coming Oct. 3 for LSU's game against Eastern Michigan.

The SEC announced start times for that week's action, and LSU-EMU got a 6 p.m. start and will be shown on ESPNU. It'll be the first meeting between these two teams.

The canceled season opener against McNeese State game would've been the first night game of 2015 until Mother Nature canceled those plans. The Auburn game this past weekend kicked off at 2:30 p.m.

LSU played all of its games last season at night.

LSU is 317-104-13 all-time at night, 70-8 since 2000. The Tigers have won 46 of those games under Les Miles, and he's never lost a non-conference game during his LSU tenure.

LSU has a 43-game winning streak against teams outside the SEC since 2001.
