LSU coach Les Miles provided updates Monday on four injured players.
Defensive end Tashawn Bower did not play against Eastern Michigan after injuring his ankle against Syracuse. Miles said it's only a "minor knick," and he could've played Saturday.
They held him out as a precaution, but LSU expects him to be able to play against South Carolina.
Linebacker Lamar Louis reportedly suffered a concussion against EMU. He came out of the game in the first half and never returned.
Miles also expects him to return this weekend.
"We think Lamar will be fine for game day," Miles said. "It's not as serious as him missing the [second] half might seem. We think he'll return to play very quickly."
Tight end Dillon Gordon has not dressed for two straight games after suffering an Achilles' tendon injury against Auburn. Miles called him "day-to-day" but said he would resume workouts Monday.
"He wants to get on the field badly," Miles said.
Defensive back Jalen Mills is also listed "day-to-day," according to Miles. He hasn't dressed for a game this season after injuring his ankle during the preseason.
Miles said last week that he was at least a couple weeks from returning to the field. He still isn't sure when that return may come.
"He and Dillon, I'm going to kind of see where they are today and maybe mark a day on the calendar for those guys," Miles said.
