Divinity has long been one of the Tigers' top targets. He first landed an LSU offer in the spring of 2014 and has maintained serious interest ever since.
Divinity, a standout at John Ehret HS in Marrero, took numerous visits to Baton Rouge throughout his recruitment, most recently for the game against Auburn a few weeks ago.

Divinity was expected to take his official visit to LSU this weekend for the Florida game. He had already taken official trips to Oregon, Texas A&M and Florida State in the early parts of this season.
LSU was always the heavy favorite though, and he made that clear Sunday when he opted to commit.
Divinity plans to graduate early and enroll at LSU for spring practices. That combined with LSU's lack of depth at the position makes him a candidate to play significantly as a freshman.
