Joe Alleva: Les Miles is 'Our Coach' at LSU

Les Miles will remain LSU's head coach into bowl season and beyond, athletic director Joe Alleva confirmed Saturday night after the Tigers' 19-7 win over Texas A&M.

There is simply not a script for what has been going on in Baton Rouge.

The saga of Les Miles took a decisive turn late Saturday night inside Tiger Stadium when LSU athletic director Joe Alleva proclaimed Miles "our coach," saying the 11th-year head man will remain in charge of the Bayou Bengals into the future as the program guns for championships.

The shocking announcement from Alleva comes moments after Miles was carried off the field by his players and spent many heartfelt moments thanking the remaining crowd following a 19-7 home win over Texas A&M.

Despite those moments, which all in attendance took as goodbye, Miles remains LSU's head coach. Alleva denied that the outcome of the game with the Aggies had any bearing on Miles' future, but both men acknowledged that Miles was informed of the ultimate decision after the ballgame.

Make any sense to you?

Good, me neither.

But watch above for Alleva's full postgame meeting with the press.
