LSU Basketball in Trouble after Fourth Loss in Five Non-Conference Games

Johnny Jones and LSU have dropped four of their last five games, putting the Tigers in a potentially insurmountable position come SEC play.

LSU basketball continued its struggling ways prior to SEC action with a 105-98 overtime loss at Houston Sunday afternoon.

Despite a career-high 32 points from Keith Hornsby in his first run of the season, the Tigers dropped their fourth contest in five games, submarining the purple and gold's RPI and leveling the team's overall record at 4-4.

Johnny Jones' crew will now more than likely have to win at least 12 of 18 games in conference play to qualify for an at-large bid in the NCAA Tournament. TSD's Ben Love explains in more detail above.
