LSU added one more player to its fall camp roster on Tuesday.
Former 2014 signee and four-star defensive tackle Travonte Valentine officially rejoined the team according to LSU.
Valentine is able is to practice with the team and was listed on LSU's fall camp roster. However his status to play remains up in the air, according to a report from the Advocate.
The 6-foot-4, 340-pound defensive tackle will have to take a class during LSU's intersession period when started on Aug. 8 and ends on Aug. 20. In Dave Aranda's defensive scheme, Valentine will likely play at nose tackle.
Valentine was kicked off the team last summer and spent the last year at Arizona Western and Mississippi Gulf Coast community college. With the loss of projected starter Christian LaCouture, Valentine could be a key contributor for LSU this season.
