Les Miles does not know when Leonard Fournette will return to practice.
During a post-practice news conference on Tuesday, Miles revealed to the media that the Tigers' junior Heisman hopeful suffered a lower ankle sprain on a "up the middle, 8-12 yard carry," Miles said, then a defender fell on Fournette's leg.
"It's not terrible," Miles said.
Miles, though, is unsure how quickly Fournette will return to practice.
"In his words, he'll be fine," the coach said.
Fournette is now the fourth Tiger to fall to the injury bug within the last week, as Corey Thompson, Christian LaCouture and Isaiah Thompson all went down with respective leg injuries.
LSU will begin its season in 17 days from Tuesday on Sept. 3 against Wisconsin at Lambeau Field.
