LSU-Auburn moved to Dec. 1

The LSU-Auburn football game originally scheduled for September 15 has been moved to December 1, LSU athletics director Skip Bertman announced on Monday. The Southeastern Conference has also announced LSU's game at Tennessee on Sept. 29 will kickoff at 6:45 CT to allow for its broadcast on ESPN.

The LSU-Auburn game is set for a 7 p.m. kickoff in Tiger Stadium, however that time is subject to change because of television. ESPN2 originally planned to air the game with an 8 p.m. kickoff on Sept. 15, but the SEC postponed all of its games last weekend in light of the terrorist attack on the United States.

The SEC Championship game has also been moved back one week to Saturday, Dec. 8, the league office announced. Kickoff time for the championship game will be announced at a later date.

In addition to the LSU-Tennessee game, other televised SEC games scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29, include: Alabama at South Carolina on Jefferson Pilot Sports, Mississippi State at Florida on CBS, and Arkansas at Georgia on ESPN2.
