Mike the Tiger VI receives flowers from Texas mascot Bevo

LSU mascot Mike the Tiger VI received flowers from Texas mascot Bevo last Friday. Mike posted a thank you note to the Texas mascot.

The terrible news that Mike the Tiger VI has 1-2 months to live came out last week. The 11-year old LSU mascot has cancer and has already been taken out of his habitat and moved to hospice care.

The outpouring of support has come from all over for the beloved LSU mascot and Mike's Twitter account posted a special thanks to Texas' mascot Bevo for sending over a flower arrangement. The hashtag read: #MascotsStickTogether

Bevo sent a note that read: "Mike And All The Many People Who Loved Him, Remain In Our Thoughts And Prayers, Bevo XV And The University Of Texas Silver Spurs."

If Mike shows signs of discomfort, he'll be euthanized.

Arkansas also sent flowers in late September
