It's no secret that the primetime showdown between No. 1 Alabama and No. 13 LSU will be a display of hard-nosed, grown man football. The two titans clash yet again as the Tigers look to break a 5-game losing streak and continue the team's undefeated mark under Ed Orgeron.
Doing so in front of the crowd of recruits expected in including 2017 elite talent like 5-star wide receiver Devonta Smith, 4-star linebacker Chris Allen, 4-star offensive tackle Adrian Ealy would go a long way in the Tigers' recruiting efforts for some of these key pieces.
Now, will 5-star Clinton (Miss.) running back Cam Akers make it to Baton Rouge for the game? Scout's Chad Simmons has the latest on Akers' plans. Everyone is on Akers watch this weekend as hosting Scout's No. 4 overall player and early enrollee would be a great opportunity to climb the ladder for his signature.
2018 talent doesn't fail to impress either. 5-star quarterback and Scout's No. 1 overall player Trevor Lawrence will be in the house along with LSU commits in 4-star defensive backs Kelvin Joseph and Nadab Joseph. There's other top talent coming in alongside that high-end talent.
Who else will be in attendance? Come inside Tiger Blitz for the latest on what recruits are saying on the game, who's in, who's out, and a few tidbits we've picked up on the weekend.
