LSU running back Derrius Guice had himself quite the night for LSU against the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Tigers relied on Guice with Leonard Fournette out with a hurt ankle especially in the second half.
Guice responded in the fourth quarter as the Hogs' defense was worn down to take a run 96 yards on second down for the longest play in LSU history and to give the Tigers a 38-10 lead at that point in the ball game.
Guice ran 21 times for 252 yards and two touchdowns against Arkansas in the first win for the LSU program under Ed Orgeron on the road. Guice was within striking distance of Fournette's single-game rushing record, but fell a few yards short.
