The biggest name out of the 10 former LSU football players set to compete at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis will be running back Leonard Fournette, but another name that should catch your eye is linebacker Kendell Beckwith.
The Butkus Award finalist tore his ACL in the Tigers' loss to Florida this year, according to teammates, but will be at the combine to compete. How much Beckwith will be able to do yet is unclear as Beckwith or LSU have not confirmed that injury.
Fournette and Beckwith are joined by eight other former Tigers including safety Jamal Adams, defensive end Tashawn Bower, receivers Malachi Dupre and Travin Dural, defensive tackle Davon Godchaux, center Ethan Pocic, linebacker Duke Riley and cornerback Tre'Davious White. The list was announced on NFL.com.
LSU will only trail Alabama in the Southeastern Conference in participants. The Crimson Tide have 12, but the SEC does lead in number of overall participants with 66 players set to compete in the combine.
The NFL Draft is set for April 27-29 in Philadelphia.
