2019 Horn Lake (Miss.) linebacker Nakobe Dean picked up an LSU offer last week, but that didn't stop him from quickly coming over for a visit to Baton Rouge to watch the Tigers practice on Thursday.
"It was fun, very exciting. I loved the energy," Dean told Tiger Blitz.
The 6-1, 221-pound linebacker met with defensive analyst Ronnie Wheat, defensive coordinator Dave Aranda and head coach Ed Orgeron, who were excited to see the rising junior on campus.
"They were just asking if I was enjoying myself and if I liked practice," Dean said. "I loved his (Orgeron's) energy during practice and how he was engaged in all that was going on." http://www.scout.com/college/lsu/story/1763294-lsu-national-junior-day-l...
While watching Aranda with the LSU linebackers on Thursday, Dean said he enjoyed watching LSU's second-year defensive coordinator work with the linebackers.
"I thought they were very disciplined and listened to what coach Aranda had to say," Dean said.
Dean also has an offer from Mississippi State and will stay through the weekend for LSU's Junior Day on Saturday.
