The quarterback battled rages on, Will Clapp has no chance to play in the spring game, young linebacker adjusting to new spot and more from LSU Football media and practice on Tuesday.

    Practice and Media Tidbits:

    • LSU linebacker Michael Divinity says he still doesn't know whether his move inside is permanent or not, but that the move was made to get him on the field this spring more while Devin Voorhies moved to F linebacker to get him more time. Divinity said that patience is the biggest key to playing inside, saying that he didn't get a chance to read as much at first because he wanted to fill gaps, but staying patient before doing that is a big key to his new position next to Devin White.
    • Safety Grant Delpit saw time with the first team on Tuesday with John Battle out for an unspecified reason. Donte Jackson was also out, which saw Saivion Smith play in his spot, a continued trend from last week.
    • The running backs are a full-go it seems with Derrius Guice back out there and Lanard Fournette seeing time ahead of Nick Brossette in the pecking order. With Guice's carries expected to be limited, Fournette has a chance to push for time in Matt Canada's offense.
    • The quarterbacks and wide receivers experienced a few drops in individual period in part to off target throws and in-part due to flat-out drops.
    • D.J. Chark was back at practice and not limited at all.
    • Wide receiver Mannie Netherly got a bit of a chewing out at the beginning of practice by Canada, having to tie his shoes and put on gloves, holding up a rep for a brief moment. Canada said that LSU sets the tempo, not Netherly. Netherly responded by running through a drill hard, but the adjustment should still be noted.
    • Christian Lacouture, Donavuaghn Campbell and JD Moore were the only ones in gold jerseys.
    • Defensive lineman Glenn Logan was back at practice and not limited either.
    • Will Clapp, who got a few snaps in non-contact period last week, was seen working on conditioning on the far field with a member of the strength staff. Clapp said during media that he has no chance to play in the spring game.
    • University Lab OT Princeton Pines was at practice along with a couple teammates.
