LAST MEETING/SERIES: Last spring the Tigers and Bulldogs broke even in four games, with State winning the regular-season series with 12-8 and 2-1 wins before LSU claimed the finale, 11-8. The Tigers nabbed a 6-2 win at the SEC Tournament. The Bulldogs’ series victory in 2016 ended a run of nine straight LSU series victories (2007-15).
