LAST MEETING/SERIES: The Tigers rallied to claim a regular-season series from the Gamecocks with 5-2 and 7-6 wins after dropping the opener 3-2 at Alex Box Stadium. This is the first time the two teams have met in Hoover since 2009 when LSU topped the Gamecocks 4-1 in an elimination game. LSU leads the series 36-26-1. 

LAST TIME OUT: LSU demolished Kentucky 10-0 on Thursday. South Carolina topped the Wildcats 3-1 in an elimination game on Friday.
