LAST MEETING/SERIES: The Tigers and Seminoles collide for the first time since 2000 when they met in the semifinal round of the CWS, with LSU prevailing 6-3 at Rosenblatt Stadium. Florida State leads the series 9-7 with three meetings in Omaha – FSU won 6-3 in 1994 and the Tigers claimed a 6-2 decision in 1987.
