2018 five-star Texas wide receiver Brennan Eagles sets decision date

2018 Houston (Tex.) Taylor wide receiver and LSU target Brennan Eagles has set his decision date.

One of the highest rated recruits in the 2018 class has set his decision date. Five-star wide receiver Brennan Eagles will announce his commitment on July 17.

The Houston area receiver released a Top 10 of Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, UCLA and USC earlier this spring.

LSU hosted Eagles on an unofficial visit in April and Eagles has family ties to Louisiana as well, but will it be enough to make a late push?

Eagles is at Texas for an unofficial visit on Saturday along with some of the top prospects in the state of Texas. As of now, LSU trails for Eagles' commitment. http://www.scout.com/college/lsu/story/1785634-4-star-louisiana-wr-sets-...

The 6-4, 215-pound receiver is the No. 13 overall prospect, No. 3 overall receiver and No. 1 receiver in Texas. LSU target and five-star Louisiana wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. has LSU out in front, many believe, and sits right ahead of Eagles as the No. 2 receiver in the country.

Eagles will compete in The Opening Finals in Oregon in July before making his announcement.
