Favorite feedback on Arkansas game

Many of Louisiana's top prospects are finishing up their unofficial visits to football games with signing day fast approaching.

LSU's Nov. 28 clash with Arkansas had several visitors, including West Jefferson defensive tackle Marlon Favorite.

"Man, that game was loaded," says Favorite, who was awed by the second-largest crowd in LSU history. "Tigertown was loaded. (LSU) put some numbers on those boys (Arkansas)."

"It was cool for the most part," he says of his visit. "It was a really good game and I enjoyed myself. LSU played well especially on defense."

Favorite still says he's wide open, but admits LSU is starting to creep up his list. He says watching a young LSU team perform so well makes the school an attractive destination.

Nov. 30 marked the first date in which coaches could visit the homes of players, and LSU recruiting coordinator and defensive line coach Lance Thompson wasted no time in visiting with Favorite.

"We had our first visit Sunday," Favorite says. "I definitely feel a lot more comfortable around him. I feel like I can really talk around him."
