"Right now Colorado, Indiana, and Ole Miss are the schools I'm really considering," said Joseph.
Joseph visited Bloomington, Ind., last weekend and has a visit scheduled for Colorado on Dec. 19 but said he might reschedule. He plans on taking the ACT on Dec. 13 to try and get his eligibility square away.
"One thing I like about all these programs, they are all on a big time stage and you can go up against other top players," said Joseph of his remaining suitors. "The Big 12, Big 10, and SEC, it doesn't get any bigger than that."
Even with star QB Eli Manning on the verge of leaving Ole Miss, Joseph says the Rebels are still an attractive destination because of Robert Lane, a top QB prospect from 2003 who is waiting in the wings.
"The future might be bright there even with Eli leaving," he said.
Joseph also said he watched the LSU/Ole Miss game. Seeing how the Rebel receivers struggled to get separation from LSU's defensive backs made him feel he had a good chance at early playing time.
"It made me think," he said. "I think I can make an impact wherever I go, but seeing that did make me think."
