SUGAR BOWL: Cameron Vaughn Q&A

The LSU linebacker talks about playing before hometown fans.

Any problems with playing surface?

"No, we've played on this type of surface a couple of times this year. I think we'll be fine. We practiced on it today and there was no big problems."

Delay in practice?

"I really don't know what happened. Didn't know if it was a schedule problem or what."

Playing in front of hometown crowd?

"It's great to be playing so close to home. I know a lot of people that will be here and want to be here. And the Tiger fans are the best you are going to find anyway. It's a good feeling."

Any main points of emphasis on stopping the OU defense?

"We're just going to go out there and play our defense as best as we can. We have to stop all parts of the offense, we have to stop the past and run. We just can't concentrate on one aspect of the game, they will just excel in one other aspect of the game."

Is the game plan completely installed as of yet?

"Most of the time, we're always adding stuff in. We'll have new stuff on the sidelines on game day. Our game plan is never really fully installed, but I think a big chunk of it is installed now."
