Peterson to announce decision today

SAN ANTONIO - Palestine, Texas, running back Adrian Peterson is expected to announce his commitment during halftime of today's U.S. Army All-American game.<br><br>TheInsiders.com has been following the event the entire week and has an exclusive interview with Peterson.

OUInsider.com: Are you still planning to make your verbal commitment to either Oklahoma or Miami during halftime of tomorrow's U.S. Army All-American Bowl Game?

Peterson: "Yes."

OUInsider.com: How long have you known what school you will attend?

Peterson: "About a week. I've changed my mind a few times (lately)."

OUInsider.com: Is there any chance you will switch the decision you have made between now and your announcement?

Peterson: "No."

OUInsider.com: What do you like most about Oklahoma?

Peterson: "The players, because they stick together and work hard. I really took to them when I visited and see myself being surrounded by guys like that. I really feel comfortable there (Oklahoma) and I love the coaches."

OUInsider.com: Ultimately, what was the biggest deciding factor in your decision?

Peterson: "I've always wanted to go somewhere that best fits me and that's what I'm doing."

OUInsider.com: What are your thoughts on your decision?

Peterson: "I'm really excited about it. To be honest, I can't wait to get this (recruiting) over with, so I can start focusing on other things."

OUInsider.com: Are you nervous about making your commitment on national television?

Peterson: "A little bit, but not much. I know there's a lot of pressure, but I don't look at it that way."
