Jeremy Jones is a 6-foot-4, 280-pound tight end who projects as an offensive lineman in college. He is in Mississippi State this weekend and will go to Alabama, Auburn and LSU later this month - in that order. Each school has offered him a scholarship.
Jones is just hitting recruiting radar this year because it was his first playing football. On the down side, he suffered a torn ACL recently but is expected to make a full recovery after surgery.
For a team with a scholarship to give, Jones might make a good investment based on his size, speed (4.8) and agility.
