LB Byrdsong says LSU visit probable

LSU must face the possibility of having to replace linebacker Trev Faulk should he elect to skip his junior season and head to the NFL. One player who could help ease the loss in Marvin Byrdsong of Longview, Texas, and he is seriously considering giving the Tigers and official visit.

"Right now, I have about 20 scholarship offers," said Byrdsong. "I will visit Arkansas (1-4), Oklahoma (12-7), Texas and Florida State. My last visit will probably go to LSU. I am looking at academics, playing time, winning tradition and player comradarie."

Byrdsong is one of the top linebackers from the Lone Star State. He is from Longview, Texas. Byrdsong, 6-3 and 235 pounds, has 108 tackles and 2 interceptions so far this season. He bench presses 335 pounds and vertical jumps 35-inches.
