Louisiana DL has 2 Early Offers

Alfred Jones of St. Augustine High School has two early offers. He is a productive defensive lineman that could play end or tackle in college.

Alfred Jones is a defensive lineman from St. Augustine High School in New Orleans that has already picked up two early offers. At 6-3 and 240 pounds, Jones has the frame to play defensive end or possibly move inside to tackle before his career is over.

Jones had 89 tackles and 11 sacks as a junior, and he has drawn the attention of schools across the country. He is receiving letters and interest from schools as far away as UCLA, USC, and Michigan State, but his list of favorites consist of teams a little closer to home.

"My Top 5 right now is LSU, Ole Miss, Auburn West Virginia, and Florida State. Ole Miss and West Virginia are the two teams to have offered so far. My favorite team growing up was Florida State. My dad also played at Tulane."

Jones is a good student that projects as a full qualifier. He doesn't play any other sports, concentrating on the weight room. He has a 315 Bench and a 515 squat. He can play inside or outside, but it's interesting to know that he patterns his game after an interior lineman.

"I like La'Roi Glover. He's an undersized defensive tackle that causes havoc."

Jones could be the same way on the next level.

**Edited from a previous report that listed Jones' letters of interest as offers. He has two offers thus far and early interest from schools across the country. Sorry for the mistake. - Scott Kennedy
